Well, we went on a Madrid Merry-go-Round "tiovivo" looking for the Middlesbrough game on Saturday (we finally found it in pub No.3, The Irish Rover, on IRISH Setanta Sports 1 as expected). By the way, thank you Carra & Stevie!

It looks like the MADrid REDS will be back in the Triskel Tavern for this game, which is apparently on good old UK ITV1.

[I'll be landing in a far off country 15 minutes after kick-off, so I hope to find an open pub full of Reds somewhere to see the end of the game. Maybe I will try here...]

Well it seems that some people are back in town for this game, however, the TV signal might still be relaxing in some guiri chiringuito on the costas.

As far as we know, this game is being shown on Setanta Sports 1 (Republic of Ireland only) so we need to make some enquiries to find a pub showing it. If we can't find a pub, we hope to have an emergency plan so that we can see the game. Watch this space, an update will follow...

Boro fans kindly inform us that least 2 out of the 3 Olympians Babel(yes), Lucas(?) and Mascherano(?) should be back at Anfield for this game, depending on the Olympic semi-final outcome between Brazil and Argentina.
